They're probably morning people, too

Monday morning. My favorite.

You know, I thought it would be different after I quit working, but Monday still reeks of the party's over, here's the check, time to clean up.

Of course, for some people Monday is the start of a brand new week. A fresh opportunity for adventure and productivity. The chance to meet challenges, lay foundations, overcome obstacles, make a difference.

Yippee-skippee.

I'm going back to bed.

I'm with you woman. I hate Mondays. If I had my way, I'd crawl back into bed and pull the covers up over my head until Tuesday!! All these optimists!! :-)

Cas,

You are looking at it wrong. Every morning is a great morning because you are still breathing and walking and talking and thinking. If you are having trouble with your writing, treat it just like a regular job - set aside some office time (during school hours unless you home school) and use that time to work on a novel or short stories or editing or write some articles for magazines. See who has a contest going right now that you would like to enter; then during your office hours of 9 to 3 (giving time for kids to get off to school and you the ability to wake up and do some menial tasks as need be) - set your goals of working on something - make it productive.

After 30 days of doing this (okay 20 when you work within the confines of school days) - this will be a habit and you won't dread Monday mornings or any morning, you will be ready to get into the office and do something productive. There are lots of contests listed on several different sites - just google writing contests or free writing contests (because those appeal to me - lol) and see what's out there - E :)
